How to play
The Sweden quiz tests how much you really know about Sweden. Each round consists of ten randomly selected questions from a large question bank mixing geography, history, culture, nature, sport and civics. The questions are in Swedish – perfect if you are learning the language. Click the answer you think is correct – you immediately see whether it is right: the correct answer is marked green and a wrong choice is marked red. Then move on to the next question.
After ten questions you get your result together with a verdict, and your best score is stored locally in your browser so you can try to beat it next time. Since the questions are drawn at random, every round is new – play a few times and you will soon get through the whole question bank.
The quiz works just as well for anyone studying for the Swedish citizenship test or SFI as for a quiz night with the family. Did you know, for example, that Sweden was the first country in Europe with national parks, that the Riksdag has exactly 349 members and that the country has 25 provinces but only 21 counties? Facts like that – and much more – come up among the questions.
