Blockregn – stack the falling blocks
Rotate and move the falling blocks so they fit together into full rows. A complete row disappears and gives you points – but the pace keeps rising, so think fast before the pile reaches the top!
How to play
Blockregn is a classic falling-block puzzle. Seven differently shaped blocks rain down one by one over a playing field ten squares wide and twenty squares tall. Your job is to move each block left and right, rotate it and drop it so that it fits neatly against the blocks already lying at the bottom. Whenever a whole horizontal row is filled it clears away, everything above slides down and you earn points.
Use the arrow keys on a computer: left and right move the block, up rotates it, down is a gentle soft drop and the space bar is a hard drop straight to the bottom. On a phone or tablet the on-screen buttons do the same thing, and you can also swipe. Clearing several rows at once is worth far more than clearing them one at a time, so it pays to build flat and save room for the long straight block.
For every ten rows you clear the level rises and the blocks fall faster, so the game keeps challenging you. Your highest score is saved locally in your browser, meaning you always have a personal record to beat next time.
