Fyra i rad – four in a row
Drop your discs into the columns and be the first to line up four in a row – horizontally, vertically or diagonally. You play the red discs, the computer plays the yellow. Watch out for gravity: every disc falls straight to the bottom!
How to play
Four in a row is played on a standing board with seven columns and six rows. On your turn you choose a column and your disc drops to the lowest free slot – just like the classic Connect Four. You play the red discs and the computer the yellow. The first player to get four of their own discs in an unbroken line – horizontally, vertically or diagonally – wins, and the winning four are highlighted.
Because every disc falls to the bottom, the columns fill up quickly and each move shapes the board for the rest of the game. A strong idea is to control the centre column: from there your discs reach in the most directions. At the same time you have to keep blocking the computer – if it ever gets three in a row with an open end, you must plug the gap immediately or the game is lost on the next move.
Choose Easy for a gentler opponent or Hard for a computer that looks several moves ahead, sets traps and rarely misses a winning chance.
