How to play

Kakuro looks like a crossword, but instead of words you fill in digits. The dark squares hold the clues: a number in the upper-right triangle is the sum of the white run running to the right, and a number in the lower-left triangle is the sum of the run going down. Fill every white square with a digit from 1 to 9 so each run adds up exactly to its clue.

The golden rule is that a digit may never be repeated inside the same run. So a run of two squares that sums to 4 can only be 1 + 3 (or 3 + 1), never 2 + 2. That single rule is what makes each puzzle solvable by pure logic – start with the short runs and the extreme sums, where only a few combinations fit. Click a square and type with the on-screen keypad or your keyboard; use the arrow keys to move around.

Press Check to mark any wrong digits in red, and Clear to empty the grid and start over. Every board here is verified to have exactly one solution, and once you complete one it is saved as solved in your browser.
